Microfiction Monday #72 She Dreams of Faeries

She removed her shoes and hobbled down the river bank to soak her aching feet. Spent from her journey; she slept; and dreamt of faeries placing moonbeams in her shoes.

Microfiction Monday is hosted by Stony River; You look at the picture and try to write a little vignette for it in 140 characters or less. Lots of fun! http://www.stonyriver.ie/

  7. This one also has magic, a tale within a tale. Very pretty, and the weariness comes through. I went with sunlight, but moonbeams suggest a soft dreaminess that works well here.
