| Tomatoes Still-life We had our first frost the other night. Time to pick the rest of the tomatoes and bring them inside to ripen. Time for sipping tea and knitting hats, wearing warm, fuzzy socks and wrapping up on the sofa in a flannel quilt with a good book. To everything there is a season, a time for every purpose under the sun. What a lovely still life!
Interesting... we haven't had a hard frost yet either. Although the nights are now dipping to very near freezing point. Flowers are still blooming in the garden, so it's a real treat to catch glimpses of summer sights mixed with the autumnal colours!
It's hard to believe that I still have impatiens in the middle of October! We've just "kissed" 32 1/2 degrees a couple of time now and the impatiens are still going strong!

Sounds like our weather is definitely turning after today. Enjoy those tomatoes!
There are times it helps to know that a certain thing is only for a season ... there are also tinmes it causes one to make the most of the time. I was also reminded of another verse in eccl. tonight. ... "He has made all things beautiful in His time."
