This handsome fellow loves long walks, tender caresses, gazing soulfully into your eyes, big sloppy kisses and playing keep away. And how he enjoys a fine meal.
I'm pretty smitten with this big galoot! He's a gentle giant.
We could use a little advice with this boy. If you have a big dog who's a big chewer, can you tell me what kind of toys you give him? He's got the Kong of course, and the Kong ball and a huge synthetic bone of some kind, but he needs more things to keep him occupied. Any suggestions?

Oh, Debora! I'm so happy for you that you found this fabulous dog and gave him a fine home! I love his Royal name, but I would call him Bear, like you! I don't remember what to give a big dog to chew on. Our only real puppy just chewed on everything in our apartment! The old couch, including wooden arms, my new Bentwood rocker, shoes, some of our wedding album!! (true!)..and he also got into a fight one time with a large, climbing philodendron plant!! LOL
Congrats on your new addition! And hugs to Bear from me. Sloppy kisses from Vern, too! :)
Ahh...he looks sweet~
Debora, what a sweet expression this guy has. No wonder you love your clumsy Bear.

Isn't he going to be a handsome fellow.... I can't imagine when he's full grown. He'll be so much fun. And I just love his name(s). I like Baron.
Ahhh, he looks just like my brloved lady! She went through several hoses. I think she chewed partly because she was bored, partly because of new teeth. I'd suggest mixing up the toys as much as possible and wearing him put with exercise. Watch out for leaving anything on the floor like shoes, purses etc. Anything on the floor is an invitation that it's a treat for him to chew. They are smarter than we realize, so check out a documentary called Dogs Decoded :Nova. Very interesting! I still miss my lab so badly. She was by my side all the time. What a lover.
