Exchanging my 'List' for 'Listen'

I've always been a goal setter. A writer-down of lists of 'things I must accomplish.' It's been a pretty  effective way to live. But lately I've felt a different sort of stirring inside. It bids me, "Be still. Relax. Listen. Meditate. Follow my Voice." So that's what I'm going to do. Not really certain where I am going, but trusting that wherever it is, it will be Good.

  1. I'm not much of a list person...:) (it sure does help to have one ~ if I can find it!) I think everyone needs to take time to listen ~ listen to God, listen to our hubby, listen to our children...

  3. Something I need to do and want to do more of ... to listen. I'm also a list person.

  4. Listen is on my life list of 'word' for this year. I'm not fully committed to this one yet but I'm close to choosing. May it be a wonderful year for you, full of passion for the things you enjoy and love. Happy 2012.

  5. Oh it will be good. Being Still is a perfect place to start. You can't go wrong when you listen to God. Enjoy every moment of stillness knowing that the lists will eventually get done somehow...God will help take care of the details or he might just change your list...you'll never know until you listen!

  6. Debora, I think those are wonderful words to heed. I have similar ones on my List of Things to Do, believe it or not. Taking care of myself, spiritually, etc. Good for you!

  8. Trust can be scary but it can also lead you to amazing places.
Seek and you shall find... without a list.
    Happy New Year.
