Welcome friends...thanks for coming by. We're seeking beauty in all of creation... in our faith and our families; our art and our music; our crafts and kitchens, and even in our own backyard. We'll share a poem or a recipe, a picture or a memory; maybe a dream of how we wish our life could be. And though we acknowledge that the world can be harsh, we're keeping it pleasant in our little corner; endeavoring to keep the words from the Book of all Books: ...Whatsoever things are lovely; think on these things.

I so enjoy hearing from you...so leave me a comment; it'll make my day!

In the Garden

Images of the Community Garden at Lynden Methodist Church.

I just know that in His heart, our Father is a gardener. He reminds us to consider lilies, to sow seed on good ground, and he tells us that we are branches and Jesus is our vine. When the earth was only days old, He planted a garden for Adam and Eve. He walked with them there, in the cool of the day.

I can't imagine life without a garden.

IN THE GARDEN
I come to the garden alone,
while the dew is still on the roses--
and the voice I hear
falling on my ear
the Son of God
discloses...

I'd stay in the garden with Him
though the night around me be falling,
but he bids me go
through the voice of woe
His voice to me
is calling...

(chorus)
And He walks with me and He talk with me;
and He tells me I am His own
and the joy we share
as we tarry there
none other has ever known.

although I was not gifted with a green thumb I can't imagine a life without a garden. I am forever trying different things to plant and hopefully prosper. The beauty is immeasurable and the joy can not be compared! Looks like your garden is growing well!
And I LOVE your new header...;j
