Welcome friends...thanks for coming by. We're seeking beauty in all of creation... in our faith and our families; our art and our music; our crafts and kitchens, and even in our own backyard. We'll share a poem or a recipe, a picture or a memory; maybe a dream of how we wish our life could be. And though we acknowledge that the world can be harsh, we're keeping it pleasant in our little corner; endeavoring to keep the words from the Book of all Books: ...Whatsoever things are lovely; think on these things.

I so enjoy hearing from you...so leave me a comment; it'll make my day!

A Frosty KOA

We have a beautiful KOA not far from our house. We decided to drive over in the snow last weekend to see how it looked...

Frozen Ponds

Frozen Pool

 Frozen Ice!

I'm thinkin' that ice sales are down this time of year...

I see that KOA every time I head over to the Hi Hoe Nursery! It's such a beautiful and well maintained place... and it certainly is beautiful in the snow!

PS I didn't know that they had a pool either!

We haven't had much of a winter in St. Louis, even our birdbath hasn't frozen solid yet.

Can you tell me where that KOA is? We need to put it on our campground list.
