Friday evening after work. A little sunshine, a Black Lab, a stick and a creek. It's all good.
Welcome friends...thanks for coming by. We're seeking beauty in all of creation... in our faith and our families; our art and our music; our crafts and kitchens, and even in our own backyard. We'll share a poem or a recipe, a picture or a memory; maybe a dream of how we wish our life could be. And though we acknowledge that the world can be harsh, we're keeping it pleasant in our little corner; endeavoring to keep the words from the Book of all Books: ...Whatsoever things are lovely; think on these things.
I so enjoy hearing from you...so leave me a comment; it'll make my day!

It is better than good. Those simple pleasure are the ones I hug to myself on dark days...
I remember those times with a dog...I am dogless right now but still have excellent memories.
We had a black lab and she love water too. I miss her.
Is that photo suppose to look like a water color? How did you do that?
Yes, well actually an oil painting. Its taken from a photograph on my cell phone. I uploaded it to a app called PicsArt. They have all kinds of fun effects you can do with your photograph. For this one I picked the artistic section, and use the oil painting feature. Fun, huh?
